Today in the Ukimet Uyi First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held negotiations with a delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Pankratov.

During the meeting the sides raised issues of bilateral relations especially within the Eurasian Economic Union.

The parties discussed various aspects of trade and economic cooperation, issues of ensuring stable operation of power systems of the two countries. As for the transport sector, the delegations agreed to make efforts for development of road and rail communications.

In addition, Bakytzhan Sagintayev and Oleg Pankratov considered a possibility to increase mutual supply of agricultural products considering restrictions for phytosanitary requirements, water supply, cooperation in the field of migration, agriculture and environmental protection.

During the talks, the parties expressed their intention to continue the cooperation of states in priority sectors, such as commodity and service trade, transport, energy, tourism.
